Remote desktop is enabled on the host, I even double checked the registry. I looked at the terminal server logs on both the host and terminal server in event viewer, as far as I can discern, there are no clues as to what the issue may be. The host is set to automatically obtain an IP, and when they log into the VPN they are assigned an IP within our network. The user is able to log into the terminal server within our network and stay connected with no issues. I have other remote users, who work in other offices and work from home. The user did not have this issue before the change. Sometimes they will be completely kicked off the internet and need to log back into the VPN then RDP again. Sometimes it will only take a second to reconnect, other times several tries. Since that change the user has not been able to stay connected to RDP for more than 20 minutes or so.

Recently that office changed their network infrastructure. They connect to our network using a Sonicwall VPN and then RDP onto a terminal server. I have a remote user who works in a sort of collaboration office.
